There are a large variety of painter rollers on the market and which are used to paint small pieces of furniture, walls and the outsides of buildings. There are great advantages of using a roller instead of a brush, such as speed and being able to apply an even coat with ease.

The roller consists of a handle to which the roller brush, a cylinder covered in different materials (mohair or foam), is attached and there are also extension poles to attach to the handle to reach high surfaces.

They are very easy to use. Just cover the roller brush with paint and then roll it over the surface to be painted. A tray is the best way to cover the roller brush with paint. Place the roller in the tray and then use the drip pan to remove any excess paint.

The best way to get an even finish is to first apply paint vertically and once dry, paint another coat horizontally. It is best to use a brush for corners, the edges around the door and with the ceiling, as those tasks are more complicated with a brush.
